Why it matters
Wall thickness is the whole story
A sauna is a heat vessel. Thin walls bleed heat, so the heater fights instead of holds — that's how you get 57-minute warm-ups and lukewarm January sessions. At 42mm with triple insulation, the Ritual holds sauna temperature the way the Finnish research protocol expects: 176–212°F, session after session.
It's also why we can take a used sauna back after 11 months while Plunge's published policy takes none back once uncrated. Build for a decade and the trial takes care of itself.

Isn't Plunge cheaper?
No. Plunge's saunas list at $9,990 and $10,990 (June 2026). The Ritual 2-Person is $7,990 and the 3-Person is $8,990 — both under Plunge's starting price, with thicker walls and the longer trial.
Does Bettr do cold plunge too?
We sell an outdoor shower add-on for contrast therapy — the cold half of the hot-cold cycle. If you want a dedicated cold tub, any good one pairs fine with a Ritual. No bundle lock-in.
