The single most important habit: let the cabin dry. Four-step routine, no chemicals required.

The single most important habit is letting the cabin dry after use.

  1. Step out and let the heater cool
  2. Wipe the bench with a clean dry cloth or small towel (this removes sweat and prevents long-term staining)
  3. Crack the door open by 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm). The cabin will dry naturally within 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Once the cabin is dry, close the door fully

If multiple users share the sauna, each person wipes the bench area where they sat. This is a courtesy and keeps the wood looking fresh.
