What to do if your tempered glass cracks, chips, or shatters — and how warranty determination works for impact vs. defect.
The 8 mm tempered glass is impact-resistant but not impact-proof. Direct hits from hard objects can damage it. Tempered glass breaks in a characteristic pattern (small fragments held together rather than sharp shards), which is a safety feature.
