Heater shuts off before timer expires
Usually a thermal cutout doing its job. Three checks — error code, sensor obstruction, over-heating — then escalate if it triggers repeatedly.
This is usually a thermal cutout doing its job. If the cabin temperature exceeds the safety threshold, the heater shuts down automatically.
Check first
- Is the controller showing a high-temperature error code?
- Has the temperature sensor on the heater become obstructed by stones?
- Is the cabin reaching higher than your target temperature (over-heating despite the controller setting)?
If the cutout is triggering repeatedly, contact our team. The sensor may need adjustment or replacement.
