Indoor installation specifics

Extra checks for indoor installs: floor level, ventilation in surrounding room, smoke and CO detector tests.

For indoor installations, beyond the standard assembly sequence:

  • Verify the floor is fully level before placing the base. Indoor floors can have slight slopes that aren't visible to the eye.
  • Confirm ventilation in the surrounding room is adequate before the first session. Open a window or run mechanical ventilation during the first few sessions to manage humidity from löyly.
  • Test the smoke and CO detectors in the room before the first heater operation.
  • For installations in basements or interior rooms without exterior windows, plan a way to manage humidity (window, ventilation fan, or HVAC integration).
