Setting up the WiFi controller

Initial pairing with the Harvia app — six steps, network requirements (2.4 GHz), and what to try if pairing fails.

If you ordered the WiFi upgrade, your sauna ships with the Harvia WiFi controller in place of the standard control panel.

Initial setup steps

1. Download the Harvia app (available on iOS and Android).
2. Create a Harvia account in the app.
3. Power on your WiFi controller. The controller will broadcast a setup network.
4. In the Harvia app, tap "Add new device" and follow the on-screen prompts to connect the controller to your home WiFi network.
5. Enter your home WiFi password when prompted.
6. Once connected, the app will sync with the controller. You can begin using it.

Network requirements

• 2.4 GHz home WiFi network. Some 5 GHz-only networks won't work for setup.
• The controller needs the WiFi signal to reach the sauna location. If the location is at the edge of your router's range, consider a WiFi extender.

If pairing fails

• Verify your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz network you're trying to pair the controller to
• Restart the controller (toggle power, wait 30 seconds, power back on)
• Restart the Harvia app
• Try pairing again
