Standard control panel display issues

Three failure modes — blank display, unresponsive buttons, error code — and how to triage each.

Display is blank

  • Check power to the unit (breaker, isolation switch, controller power)
  • The display may be in a low-power state. Press any button to wake it.

If the display stays blank with power confirmed, the controller may need replacement. Contact our team.

Buttons aren't responding

  • Check whether the unit is in a locked or settings mode (the controller has a child lock feature; consult the manual for unlocking)
  • Are any buttons physically stuck or damaged?

If the buttons remain unresponsive, contact our team for controller troubleshooting or replacement.

Display shows error code

  • Consult your heater manual for the specific code meaning
  • Common causes are temperature sensor issues, overheat shutdowns, or wiring connection problems
  • If the manual doesn't help, contact our team with the code and the conditions under which it appears
