Standard or WiFi controller

Standard or WiFi controller

Both controllers operate the same heater. WiFi adds remote start and scheduling — useful if your schedule is unpredictable.

Both options operate the same Harvia heater with the same maximum temperature, same heat-up time, and same stone capacity. The difference is how you start and schedule the sauna.

Choose the standard control if

  • You sauna at the same time most days and don't need scheduling
  • You're comfortable walking out to the unit 30 minutes before your session
  • You want fewer connected devices on your home network

Choose the WiFi controller if

  • Your schedule is unpredictable and you want to start the heater remotely
  • You want the sauna ready when you finish work, dinner, or other commitments
  • You want to schedule recurring sessions

For full WiFi setup and use, see Sections 8.3 and 8.4.
