WiFi controller will not connect
Pre-checks (2.4 GHz network, range, password, pairing mode) plus a five-step pairing reset procedure.
Check first
- Is your home WiFi router on a 2.4 GHz network? (Some 5 GHz-only networks won't pair.)
- Is your router within reasonable range of the sauna location?
- Did you correctly enter your WiFi password during pairing?
- Is the controller in pairing mode (the indicator light should be blinking; consult the controller manual)?
Pairing reset procedure
- Power off the controller
- Wait 30 seconds
- Power back on
- The controller should re-enter pairing mode automatically
- Open the Harvia app and re-add the device
If pairing repeatedly fails, the issue may be with your home network. A WiFi extender or mesh router can resolve range issues. If the controller is unresponsive to pairing attempts, contact our team.
