Foundation: Ritual 8-Person

Footprint, foundation rating, and acceptable surfaces for the 8-Person flagship — most residential decks are not rated for this load.

The 8-Person sauna requires a foundation that supports a loaded weight of 3,300 lbs / 1,500 kg.

Footprint: 82.7 inches × 94.5 inches (210 cm × 240 cm).
Foundation rating: Minimum 3,300 lbs / 1,500 kg distributed across the footprint.
Recommended foundation thickness for poured concrete: 4 to 6 inches / 10 to 15 cm.

Acceptable surfaces

4 to 6 inch poured concrete slab (the higher end recommended for this model)
Existing concrete patio rated for the load
Wood platform engineered for 3,300 lbs of distributed weight
Decks: most residential decks are not rated for this load. We recommend concrete or an engineered platform for the 8-Person rather than an existing deck. Consult a structural engineer if you intend to install on a deck.
