Post-assembly checks

Post-assembly checks

Six post-assembly checks to confirm everything works before your first session — test fire-up, controller, lighting, vents, door, and document for warranty.

Once your sauna is fully assembled and the electrical work is done:

  1. First fire-up procedure (Section 8.1). This is a controlled first heating that releases initial smells from the heater elements and stones.
  2. Test the controller. Set a temperature, set a timer, verify the heater turns on and off as scheduled.
  3. Test the lighting. Use the wireless remote to turn the LED lights on, off, and adjust brightness.
  4. Test the airflow vents. Open and close each vent to confirm smooth operation.
  5. Test the door. Open and close several times. Verify smooth latch and seal.
  6. Take photos of your installation for your records. Useful if you need to file a warranty claim later.

Once everything checks out, you're ready for your first session. See Section 9.1 for guidance on your first sauna session.
