What is not covered
Damage from improper assembly, electrical work, misuse, weather outside design specs, third-party modifications, or post-installation moves. Plus how glass damage determination works.
Warranty coverage does not apply to:
- Damage from improper assembly (failure to follow the assembly guide)
- Damage from incorrect electrical installation (not using a licensed electrician, or installation that does not match the heater's specifications)
- Damage from misuse, neglect, or accidents
- Cosmetic wood characteristics including surface checks, color variation between boards, and natural color change over time (these are characteristics of timber, not defects; see Section 10.10)
- Stones, which are consumable items expected to be replaced periodically
- Damage from extreme weather events outside design specifications (hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding above the base, fallen trees, lightning strikes)
- Wear and tear from commercial or shared-use installations unless commercial coverage was specifically arranged
- Damage from the sauna being moved, transported, or relocated after initial installation unless coordinated with our team
- Damage from third-party modifications or unauthorized repair attempts
